System Requirements
This section explains the system requirements to run code192 Alpana Server and Alpana Designer.
Alpana Server
Hardware Requirements
The following hardware requirements are necessary to run Alpana Server:
- 1 GHz or faster, 32bit or 64 bit processor
- 1 GB RAM for 32 bit or 2 GB RAM for 64 bit
- 300 MB Hard Disk space (Installation files)
Software Requirements
The following software requirements are necessary to run Alpana Server:
- Windows Client OS 7+ | Windows Server OS 2008 R2+
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005+ | Azure SQL Database
- Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0+
- SMTP Mail Server (Check Email Settings for more details)

Hardware Requirements
The following minimum hardware requirements are necessary to run the code192 Alpana Designer:
- Processor - Dual Core 32-bit CPU (x86)
- Hard disk - 2 GB
- RAM - 2 GB
Software Requirements
The following minimum software requirements are necessary to run the code192 Alpana Designer:
- Operating System - Windows 7, 8+, Windows Server 2012+
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7
- IIS Express
- Browser - Internet Explorer 9+, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox 22+, Chrome 17+, Opera 12+, Safari 5+
The following minimum software requirements are necessary in a data server (can be local or remote) for respective server connection types:
